TRANCOSO CATSHOW (Portugal) FEBRUARY 2008: |
On 16th & 17th February was celebrated a Catshow in Trancoso (Portugal).
It was a very calm show, well organized, and really enjoyable.
Trancoso is a cosy little village, with excellent hotels and restaurants :-)
We met many Spanish and Portuguese friends at Trancoso Catshow.
We were there with 4 of our cats: Eive, Fibi, Doniños & Roxana.
All of them were very relaxed, and obtained their certificates something more…:-)

DONIÑOS became Grand International Premier!!
Saturday: CAGPIB, NOMINATION and
BEST IN SHOW neuters.
Sunday: CAPE, NOMINATION and
BEST OPPOSITE SEX neuters. |

She lost the females BIS against Roxana :-)
Eive was the only cat at our home
without any nomination, so for us
it was very exciting when she obtained
her first nomination with the very exigent
judge Sona Ivanková :-)

FIBI starts her neuter career!!
After 4 years without going to shows at all
Fibi started her career at Trancoso catshow,
as neuter female, 8 years old, with an extraordinary
sweet temper and super condition :-)
She obtained her CAP both days :-D
It was very special to see how our matriarch,
our home veteran, came back to the catshows
with the calm and self-confidence that only
the experience gives, and enjoying being the
center of attention for public and judges :-) |

FONTEMOURO obtained 2 CAGCIB!!
Fontemouro obtained his 2 first
CAGCIB at Trancoso.
Fontemouro was, as ever,
very relaxed at the show,
handsome, calm and elegant.
He is the Jakobusland “gentleman”.

ES*Vestvegr's ASLAN, BIS at her 1ª show!!
Aslan is the baby of our group of breeder friends,
and the first kitten born at Vestvegr.
She is daughter of our male Gynkgo and
Valkeana’s Alabama, one of the females
owned by our friends Miguel & Eva.
Aslan is growing and developing very nicely
taking the best qualities from dad and mum.
She is a a big muscular girl, with strong boning
as if she were a boy. She has a well balanced
body, beautiful head, fantastic NFO look
and with wild almond eyes ;-)
This was the first show for Aslan,
and she was relaxed, playful and proud :-)
On Saturday she obtained her first Excelent 1ª.
On Sunday Sona Ivanková gave her an Excelent 1ª,
nominated her and Aslan became BEST IN SHOW
Gynkgo and us are very proud of Aslan.

¡¡Denise de Huldrekall is Internacional Champion!!
Denise is one of the sons of Bos Jakobusland*ES
and inherited from him some of his best qualities,
as his big size, triangular head, setting of the ears,
muscular body and excellent strong boning, etc.
Bos’ son is an extraordinary cat
who leave no one indifferent.

BORDEAUX CAT SHOW (FRANCE) JANUARY 2008: |
On 26th & 27th, January 2008 was celebrated the Bordeaux cat show (France)
Four years passed since the last time we were there, and it was really great to see
That it is still one of the most comfortable, calm and well organized shows.
It was also a nice opportunity to meet old and new friends there.
We showed 4 of our cats: Rob Roy, Roxana and their sons Hío & Herbón.
The 4 behaved very well and obtained great results in a quite difficult show
with 350 cats, 155 of which were in semi-long hair category. We are very happy!

Rob Roy obtained 2 CAGCIB
and 2 NOMINATIONS for the BIS.
He lost both days the BIV total in front of
our tortie female Roxana
Rob Roy behaved very nicely and he
was very kind and gentle with all the judges.

It took quite a long time to Roxana
to loose the teenage look and become
the impressive full grown female that
she is now. Is the right time for her to
start her championship, and her great
results confirmed us that we were right.
Roxana behave as relaxed, sweet and
self-confidence as ever.
She obtained both CAC against 3 more
tortie females. She also gained both days
the BIV total and 2 Nominations.

This was the first show experience for Herbón
And we were very glad to see that he inherited
the absolutely show temper from his mother.
The judges appreciated both siblings very much.
Herbón was Excelent 1 both days.
On Saturday he lost the BIV total against an
adult female. He also lost the nomination with
a Birman baby.
On Sunday Fabrice Calmes gave him the
BIV total, against junior and adult cats.
Calmes didn’t hesitate to nominate Herbón.
He won the Best in Show, with 5 votes out of 6.
We are very proud with our baby and we feel
very lucky because Carmen and Pedro chose him,
as a new member of the Bosquearagón family. |

Judges liked Hío very much
but he behaved quite impatient.
He didn’t like at all to be in hold
in show way, when there were
so many interesting things to investigate ;-)
He obtained 2 Excelent 2 and
very nice judments, indeed! |

FUENGIROLA CAT SHOW (SPAIN) JANUARY 2008: |

¡¡¡CONGRATULATIONS FONTEMOURO!!!
¡¡¡ALREADY INTERNATIONAL CHAMPION!!!
Fontemouro won the 6 certificates straight
ahead in 6 shows, without loose any!
On 26th & 27th January 2008 was celebrated
the Fuengirola Cat Show (Spain)
Ana Paula & Luis (Shadoweyes cattery)
traveled there to get the CACIBs needed abroad.
Fontemouro did much more than this :-D
Saturday: 2º CACIB, BIV total, Nominated,
Best in Show and 2nd place at the Best of the Best!!!
Sunday: 3º CACIB, BIV total, Nominated,
Best in Show (unanimity), 2nd place at the Best of the Best!!
We can’t express properly how proud we are
